Pricing questions
How does the free trial work?
Choose a plan and tell us about your salon. No card is needed. Everything works for 14 days, with no commitment. To carry on, add a card before the trial ends; if you do not, your account pauses and nothing is charged.
Is Salonly free?
No. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no card needed, then costs the plan price. There is no free plan, and no commission on any booking. Our guide to what salon software costs puts our prices beside the best-known UK systems.
Is there a contract?
Your free trial has none. After it, a plan runs for a minimum of 12 months, billed monthly, and then carries on month to month, with cancelling online. Paying yearly gets you two months free. The price is fixed for the whole 12 months.
Do you take commission?
No, never. Not on new clients, online bookings or deposits. You pay the plan price and nothing else unless you go over your included calls or texts.
Where do deposits go?
Straight to your own Stripe account. Salonly takes nothing from them; Stripe charges its own card fees on your account.
What if I go over my calls or texts?
Nothing stops working. A call is up to 3 minutes (a longer call counts as more than one, and calls end after 6 minutes). Extra AI front desk calls are 50p each and extra texts are 8p each, and your dashboard shows your usage as you go. Emails are always unlimited.
Is there VAT to add?
No VAT to add. We are not registered for VAT, so none is added at checkout or on your invoices. The price you see is the price you pay.
Can you move my clients from my current system?
Yes, free on every plan. Send us your export from Fresha, Phorest, Timely, Booksy or Treatwell, or any spreadsheet, and we bring your clients, services and future bookings across.
Can I change plan later?
Yes. Move up or down as your team grows or changes.
