Online booking on your own website, not a marketplace
Your clients book from your website, your Instagram bio or your Google profile, see your real free times and pay a deposit if you ask for one. The booking is yours, so there is never a commission on it.
- Your own booking page at salonly.co.uk/book/your-salon
- A booking button on any website with one line of code
- A link for your Instagram bio and Google Business Profile
- Clients choose services, a person or "anyone", then a real free time
- A link in every confirmation to move or cancel within your policy
- Clients sign in with a code to see their visits, rebook in a tap and get suggestions
One line on your website
Copy one line into any page of your website and your booking button appears there, ready for clients to book. "Check my website" in your dashboard tells you whether it is installed.
<script src="https://salonly.co.uk/widget.js" data-salon="your-salon" async></script>Your dashboard gives you this line with your own salon in it.
No website? Share your link
Every salon gets a booking page of its own at salonly.co.uk/book/your-salon. Put it in your Instagram bio, on your Google Business Profile, in a text or on a card at the desk.
What your clients see
A clean, quick booking page with your services and prices. They can book several services in one visit and choose who they would like, or anyone who is free.
- Times come from your real diary, including each person's hours, breaks and holidays
- Colour processing time is allowed for, so the times offered are times that really work
- They give their name, mobile and email, and see your cancellation policy before they book
- Deposits are taken by card when you ask for them, and paid straight to your own Stripe account
- Their confirmation has a link to move or cancel, within the notice you set
Your clients get an account without registering
Their account is their booking. When a client first books, their mobile number or email becomes their account, and next time they sign in with a six-digit code we text or email them, so there is no password to forget. In their own area of your booking page they see what is coming up, move or cancel it within your notice period, book their usual again in a tap and manage their choices about offers.
- Suggestions come from that client's own visits with you: when they are due back (and a real free time), a service people often add to theirs, a product they are probably running low on
- Each suggestion says why, in plain words, and nothing is shared with other salons
- It is on for every salon and you can switch it off
- The AI front desk knows the same things when a recognised client rings, and offers at most one, once
Patch tests built in
If a service needs an allergy alert test, online booking checks the client has had one in time. If not, it will not take the booking; it offers the patch test instead, so nobody turns up for a colour they cannot have.
Clear consent for messages
When clients book they see: "We'll text you reminders. We'd also like to tell you when you're due back and about offers." with a "No thanks" box. Reminders are service messages; anything about offers only goes to clients who did not say no.
Questions
Do I need a website?
No. Your booking page at salonly.co.uk/book/your-salon works on its own. Share the link on Instagram, Google and in texts.
Will it work on my website?
Most website builders let you paste a line of code into a page. If yours does not, link a button or menu item to your booking page instead: it does the same job.
Do you charge commission on online bookings?
No. Salonly never takes commission, on new clients or anyone else. Deposits go straight to your own Stripe account.
Can clients cancel online?
Yes, with the link in their confirmation, up to the notice you set (24 hours unless you change it). Inside that, they need to contact you.
